Like the mountain, it lies within the Okataina caldera and is located 18 ks from Rotorua, and 5 ks to the west of the mountain. The lake's surface area is 39 square ks, which makes it perfect for a day of fishing or hire some of our lake water toys to keep everyone entertained.
